Binding

To figure the cost of binding measure your quilt - width and length in inches.

Here is an example: quilt measures 90" x 100".

Take 90 + 90 +100 +100 = 380.

Then divide 380 by 12 (inches in a foot) which equals 31.7

This is the amount of running feet on your quilt. Then multiply it by one of the following:

  • $3.50 per 12 inches or a running foot - if I cut the binding strips, sew them together, apply by machine to quilt, and stitch to the back of the quilt by hand or by machine (your choice on how you want it stitched to the back). This completes the quilt, making it ready for you to use when I am finished with it!

  • $3.00 per 12 inches or a running foot - if I cut the binding strips, sew them together, apply by machine to quilt and you as the customer stitches it to the back of the quilt.

  • $2.50 per 12 inches or a running foot - if I only apply the binding to the quilt by machine, but you as the customer cuts the binding strips, sews them together, and stitches it to the back of the quilt.
